If you are craving for a pork barbeque or grilled meat and want a more comfortable and a bit classy environment with similar native Cebu barbecue taste then Yakski Barbeque is the place for you.
They have been in the barbeque business for a long time and it seems they are now getting the hype from many Cebuanos here based on the number of people going there. They have two here in Cebu, one in Mactan and the other one in Don Mariano Cui St Cebu City, near NBI clearance office.
The place is fully packed and you have to be patient while waiting in line before you will get your table/seat. Depending in the time of the day, they are mostly full during peak hours(lunch and dinner). It is advisable to go there early or have someone go ahead in the area and reserve a seat for you.
From the first look in the establishment, it is a bit cleaner and tidier than the usual street barbecue places, their waiters and staff are in proper uniform and the setup is well organized. It is accessible for those who have cars as it is located along the street and you can park near the place.
The menu mainly consists on barbecue products, like pork, chicken and fish. Here are the list as of this writing.

These are served with plain rice, they don’t serve hanging rice(at that time). Still you have the option to eat your barbecue using your barehands or with a spoon or fork, but it seems there are only few who are using their barehands. They also have drinks and ice cream for desserts.
Also don’t forget to try their sauce which is their specialty in the house, it’s like a sweet chilly soy sauce type which is the perfect match for your barbecue.
Service is also prompt and you can see their staff nearby ready to take your request.
Overall, barbecue is great and the place is clean. Taste is not far from Larsian or Matias maybe except for the sauce and hope they will serve hanging rice (puso) which is common when eating barbecue here in Cebu :). If you want a cleaner alternative to the usual barbecue streetfood style then Yakski barbecue is for you.
