Starting July 28, 2015, Starbucks Philippines will be introducing Frappuccino blended beverages for both the coffee lovers and non coffee drinkers. This will surely be added in your Starbucks bucket list of drinks to try this season. These are the Orange Honeycomb crunch cream frapppucino (Non coffee) and Honey crunch mocha frapuccino blended beverage.
ORANGE HONEYCOMB CRUNCH CREAM FRAPPUCCINO® BLENDED BEVERAGE
This beverage combines smooth and creamy Frappuccino® together with citrusy and fragrant orange sauce made with real orange bits. This is then finished with whipped cream, crunchy honeycomb and a swirl of tangy orange drizzle.
HONEYCOMB CRUNCH MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO® BLENDED BEVERAGE
Decadent Mocha Frappuccino® is layered with golden crunchy honeycomb, whipped cream and chocolaty drizzle to create a multi-textured & well-balanced cool beverage treat.
My favorite of the beverage is the orange honeycomb crunch, aside that it is non coffee, it is a more refreshing citrus summer drink which is perfect for the hot climate here.
If you have more questions all about coffee or even how Starbucks interact with their customers through their coffee, you can ask their “Coffee Master” , in any Starbucks branch, you will recognize them in their black apron and they are very happy to accommodate any questions about Starbucks and coffee in general and even make friends with them 🙂
Starbucks give as a brief history of the popular coffee shop, where it all started on 1871 in Seattle Washington with their first branch and the name Starbucks came from the popular book Moby Dick where it is the name of the 1st mate of the Captain. The Logo is also the two-tailed siren in the same book and the green color represents the founding country Seattle which is also called the emerald city.

STARBUCKS RESERVE® KENYA KARATINA AA*
This wonderful coffee takes its name from both the town and the wet mill that processed the coffee for Starbucks. It is comprised of coffees representing the Barichu Farmers Cooperative. The farms are located in Nyeri, a region known for its high quality coffee and where the cherries mature slowly, which translates in the cup to produce complex flavors.Traditional fully washed coffees are sun-dried for 2-3 weeks to allow the flavors to intensify producing a bright citrusy acidity with savory umami notes that are complex and lingering. The flavors of the coffee can be enjoyed whether hot or iced.
*AA is a classification of coffee grown in Kenya. All Kenyan coffee is graded after it is milled. Grades are assigned based on the screen size of the bean, not the quality.
